The Red Man

We spend our entire lives in Singapore rushing from one destination to another, busy making ends meet and not taking a breather to stop and watch our world go by. But don’t you wonder despite how hectic our lives are, we tend to stop and heed when the Red Man lights up at the junction ?

Well, that is perfectly fine unless of course a whole group of close to 50 people stand huddled together in a tiny junction but none of them bothered to press the button to activate the bloody green man.

Instead, the classic Singaporean reaction will be to rant and complain that the traffic light is taking too long to turn green.

What the Hell.

The spirit of complaining over every single thing in front of our very eyes is such a disgraceful Singaporean trait. Even I am ashamed when I hear it for myself.
